Crabble Corn Mill is a Georgian watermill built in 1812. The mill was built to supply flour to feed the troops that were situated along the Kent Coast, awaiting a possible invasion by Napoleon’s army.
The Mill is now a grade II* listed building. There are regular guided tours of the mill and you can see all of its machinery working. You may also like to enjoy lunches and snacks in our riverside tea room which serves food made from our own flour. We also have many events throughout the year.

Dover Museum manages three museum sites and attractions in the district. It is responsible for collecting and interpreting the history and natural history of Dover and the Dover District Council area. Since November 1999 it has also housed the Dover Bronze Age Boat Gallery featuring the world’s oldest sea going boat. It provides temporary exhibitions, special events, education services, object enquiries and advises independent museums throughout the district.
